Unlocking Firepad Software

You received a 30-digit key when you purchased. Enter this into both FireViewer (on your Palm) and FireConverter (on your PC) and they should unlock. Here are a few very rare problems you may encounter.

If FireConverter on your PC asks for the unlock key every time you run it, do this:

  • Log into your PC as Adminstrator.
  • Run FireConverter.
  • Enter the unlock key. This should permanently unlock FireConverter.

    If FireViewer or FireConverter does not accept your key, please very carefully double-check and re-enter the key.

    If you purchased "FireViewer Only" (available from Handango during 2002-2004), your key will only unlock FireViewer for Palm. It will not unlock FireConverter on your PC. The solution is to purchase the full version of Firepad Picture Viewer.
